This story is a true story. The adventures of Walter Peterson in Indonesia in 75th until 80th. Walter is an engineer from Los Angeles. He has contribution in Indonesian Satellite communication building. He and his team must built more than 40 land satellites in Indonesia. When he travelling in Indonesia archipelago he finds beautiful women and beautiful places. He said that Indonesia is heaven of island. He knows a lot of Indonesia’s history. In this book we can find Sangkuriang story, Ramayana story, Tana toraja story, Sir Raffles story, Indonesian colonization story. Walter also falls in love with a girl from Papua even though he has family in LA.With this book I know how Indonesia communication have been built. And then the story behind Palapa satellite. I almost forgot that Palapa satellite took named from Gadjah Mada’s oath, Palapa oath. In this oath he said that he never stop fighting until he can unite this Country. I think this is very balance with Palapa satellite. With this satellite we can communicate from island to island.. And we can watch television. And with this communication in Indonesia goes easier. This book tell a lot of Walter’s love story. But I take the positive and the knowledge about my country. I just feel that many things I don't know about my country. But I very proud to be Indonesian people.
