This picture is my handmade that I've made last year due to Fiksiana community event. The event's theme was "Event Surat Menyurat". This event was held to celebrate World Correspondence Day. The rule was everyone made a fiction letter (it can be love letter, to family, friend, etc). And everyone who involved in this event do not permit to know from whom they will get the letter. It means, they have had different sender and receiver.

Phototalk #14 The Ontang Anting

I took the picture above on last October. I took it while I was with my friends in one of the biggest Indonesian Game Center in north Jakarta. 

The games on the picture was named "Ontang Anting". In Indonesian "ontang anting" means "swing", moving forward and backward. In Indonesia, this game is very famous for children. But the name is "ayunan". We usually use rope which hanging very tight in tree or something which is strong enough to hold the load. Mothers sometimes also use it to lull to sleep the baby. She swing the baby slowly until he sleep. 

Two of my friends push me to play this game. But I rejected it. I thought that I couldn't coop with this game. Then finally they play the game and I promised to took some pictures for them.

#phototalk 14 Our Independence Day

Look at the picture! I took the picture on August 17th when my office celebrated our country's Independence day. Could you guess who is the people in the picture? They looked like a woman. They wore house dress. But why one of them was smoking? And their body didn't resemble with woman's body?
Yeah, they are not woman, definitely they are man. On that day they made surprise. They deceived us (me and the other staffs). In the morning we heard that our office got Volley Challenge from Sirih Club. We did belive this. But until 10am we didn't see the people from Sirih people come. Then the surprise came immediately from the hall of our office. Tara.......

Six guys from the office revealed the mystery. They came out with surprising appearance. They wore house dress, they used loose powder, lipstick, and other things which made them resemble with woman. Even one of the funnel to made breast's shape. What a funny and ridiculous things. Then they went down to the court. They challenged the Volley team winner from our office. Really enjoyable. We keep laugh all the game. In the middle of game the fake team tried to seduce the real team. They always tried to give a peck to every member of the real team each time they made a mistake. That's why every time the real team made a mistake they run away, they tried to avoid the kiss lol...

Finally the game ended with the fake team as the winner. I also can guess it because the real team didn't concentrate with the game. Too much laugh and worries. Really fun game. I hope next year I can get another interesting snapshot like this :)

#Phototalk 13 Japan's Scenery?

Foto di atas sekilas tampak seperti ada di Jepang bukan? Perhatikan sisi dari atap yang ada kiri bawah, seperti atap rumah Jepang ya? Belum lagi tanamannya yang tampak tak berdaun seperti musim gugur saja. Foto ini sebenarnya saya ambil di Karawang, tepat di pintu masuk ke arah komplek perkantoran. Bentukan rumah itu sebetulnya gubuk untuk para petambak udang beristirahat. Di sebelah kiri lagi dari rumah (tidak terfoto) adalah tambak yang luasnya berhektar-hektar. #phototalk12 Kompasianival 2013 at Grand Indonesia

Foto di atas diambil akhir tahun 2013 pada puncak acara Kompasianival 2013 di Grand Indonesia. Acara kompasianival tahun lalu memang tidak semegah tahun 2012 namun aura para jurnalis kompasiana tetap kental. Saya tiba di Grand Indonesia pukul 13.00. Khusus tahun itu saya datang dengan kakak. Kebetulan saja dia belum pernah ikut acara seperti ini (padahal dia juga bukan kompasianer hehe :P).

I  have a lot of photos just like this picture. I take the picture while on the way to the fish and shrimp pond in Karawang. The nature in here is still awesome although the water of the sea was contaminated.

Phototalk#10 The Lady Bird

Foto ini diambil di sore hari pada saat saya dan teman-teman dalam perjalanan kembali ke kantor pasca memberi makan ikan mas di lab. Bioassay. Ketika melihat lady bird alias kepik "nemplok" di bunga-bunga ilalang, naluri fotografi langsung muncul. Dan tara....akhirnya berhasil membuat satu lagi foto makro. Dengan kamera hp 5MP cukup bagus dan tidak mengecewakan. Edit sedikit, hasilnya perfecto. Tapi gambaran di foto ini hanya berlangsung hanya sebentar sebab teriknya matahari dan tidak adanya hujan membuat padang ilalang yang hijau itu menjadi menguning dan kering. Semoga saja nanti kalau sudah hujan lagi si padang ilalang kembali cantik bersemi^^

Phototalk #9 Masjid Jame' Ashr

Ini adalah foto dari sebuah masjid di Brunei Darussalam yang bernama "Masjid Jame' Ashr Hassanal Bolkiah". Sesuai dengan namanya, masjid ini adalah masjid yang dibangun untuk sultan Brunei sekarang, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah. Masjid ini berlokasi di Kiarong. Berdekatan dengan pasar tamu dan dengan pertokoan Kiarong. Konon kabarnya, kubah dari masjid ini juga terbuat dari emas, sama seperti masjid Omar Ali Syaifuddin di Bandar Seri Begawan. Foto ini diambil pada tahun 2011 di sore hari pada bulan puasa ketika saya sedang menunggu rekan kerja yang menunaikan shalat ashar. Masjid ini tidak terlalu besar, tempat untuk jama'ah perempuannya terlalu kecil. Saya dan teman-teman pernah merayakan idul Adha di masjid ini dan bertemu dengan sang pemiliknya, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah yang juga shola idul Adha di sini. Tak jauh dari masjid ini ada sebuah rumah tingkat tiga berwarna hijau yang terlihat sangat mencolok. Rumah itu adalah rumah salah seorang klien dari tempat saya bekerja. Saya pernah ke sana untuk mengobati kucing bengal yang menderita penyakit kulit. Pemilik rumah ini sangat royal, wajar saja sebab ia adalah pemilik dari Mall Gadong, salah satu mall terbesar di Brunei Darussalam^^.

Phototalk#8 The shoes

I saw this shoes last week in Karawang Mall. When I saw this shoes I realized that I've ever had the similar shoes two years ago. I bought that shoes towards my last days in Brunei. I wore that shoes when I left Brunei to Indonesia. I really like that shoes because they fit to my leg and very comfortable. But so sad this shoes were not strong enough because they damaged three months after I wore them. So that when I saw the shoes in the shop I push my self to not buy the shoes. I need a pair of shoes which has stronger shape and materials.

Phototalk #7 : Offer The Books

I took those pictures on Saturday 8th of August 2012. Do you know the place where those pictures were taken? Yup, Pasar Senen. I took them on Pasar Senen Bus Station. I spent that day for walking around Pasar Senen. I went to Pasar Senen Atrium first before go to this place. Beside Pasar Senen Bus Station there is small market which sell DVD, VCD, Books, Suitcases, Bags, Chlotes, etc. I bought 2 Thailand Movies in there. And for the books, actually I want to buy some, but I cancelled it. I think I will buy another metropop novels next month. And I don't think so the novels are available in there.

The book store in Pasar Senen reminds me to the book store in Yogyakarta, beside Taman Bacaan. Mostly the store sells books for college and school. Very seldom I saw novel, comics, or another entertainment books. I think the books are quite cheap. As you see on the first pictures, the seller offer 2 books for Rp.15.000. Really cheap. And also you can bargain them if the price is too expensive. This is one of the advantage if you buy the books from a store like this :)

Phototalk # 6: Writing Lesson

Ini adalah meja 'keramat' milik sang penunggu resepsionis. Berhubung resepsionisnya lagi off ku pakai saja untuk mengerjakan paper. Hari itu sebenarnya ngantuk berat, coz malam harinya estafet menyelesaikan "Rooftop Prince". Tapi finally selesai juga. Jadi 6 lembar dan sudah di koreksi. Pena yang di atas kertas itu adalah special pen yang selalu kupakai sejak SMA. Why? hanya sekedar kenyamanan saja. Tulisan dari pulpen gel itu lebih terlihat cantik, seperti ketikan. Meskipun isi gel nya cukup mahal tapi hasil tulisan dari tintanya tidak akan berubah warna atau memudar jika disimpan dalam waktu yang cukup lama  dan buyar jika terkena air.

Phototalk #4: The Different Story of Two Ruby

When I paralellized this two kind of gadget, I see that they have same colour, ruby. The big one is my sister's. It is fit with her because she needs notebook with big screen. How about me?I just need the small one for personal only. I bought my netbook earlier than my sister. And the first child always say this, "I don't want the same thing with my younger sister/ brother". Then, here you go.. she got the different notebook's brand than me. But, I win one thing.. I bought my netbook by my self, my own money. And, she doesn't. Sorry sis.. your younger sister go faster than you, please don't be angry, peace

I took this photo at 06.00 am. When our car almost enter the ship I saw something interest from the side. The ship has colour combination between red-white-blue. The arrow shows that it seems this ship is France's. But, actually it isn't. That one is the roof of enter gate. So that when the car go inside the ship it isn't like France's flag, but Holland's .

Lihatlah gambar di atas, miris bukan? Gambar ini saya ambil dari bis kopaja P20 hari Jum'at minggu yang lalu. Jujur saya kaget dengan kondisi kemudi yang sangat-sangat memprihatinkan. Duh, itu kabel yang menggantung kabel apaan ya??. Untungnya si pak sopir bajunya rapi, pakai kemeja dan celana bahan. Gak kebayang kalau saya yang duduk di situ. Kira-kira bis ini pernah di servis atau masuk dry cleaning gak ya??? Bentukan setirnya mengingatkan pada film nya Keanu Reeves dan Sandra Bullock, Speed.

Phototalk #2: Really Busy Or...

Kedua orang diatas ini tampaknya sibuk sekali. Kira-kira mereka sedang memikirkan soal keuangan, politik, atau urusan rumah tangga ya??? Kebetulan secara gak sengaja kamera saya menangkap peristiwa di atas. Sepertinya yang bersangkutan tidak tahu kalau diam-diam saya ambil gambarnya. Coba simak percakapan mereka berikut ini
A : "ini nih.. bahasa inggrisnya monyet apa ya?"
B : "Monkey"
A : "Bukan, cuma tiga kotak. Belakangnya E"
B : "Ah, nggak tahu"A : "Tau gak apaan?"
mendadak mas A bertanya padaku. Ingat kera, ingat drh Heri, dosen makroanatomi dan satwa liar. Kera memiliki beberapa nama lain, seperti macaca atau ape. Dan, jawabannya adalah ape. Selanjutnya....
A : "Bahasa inggrisnya tikus besar apa ya?"
B : "Berapa kotak?"
A : "Cuma tiga kotak"
B : "Ah, itu mah pasti RAT"
A : "Yang bener Lo.."
B : "Iya, bener, R-A-T... na. ya kan mbak??"Me : "Ya... mas, gak ada "na" nya. Jangan bawa-bawa namaku donk :P"
Yup... mereka berdua bukan sedang pusing dengan permasalahan kehidupan, tapi sedang serius mengisi kotak-kotak kosong dari TTS...
