Horses Lesson in Kebumen

On 6th October 2008, our lecture, Yuriadi DVM invited us to accompanied him to Kebumen. In Kebumen, Ambal especially we would examine horses. We were go at 12.30 o'clock. We arrived in Ambal at 4.30 pm. The tournament goes to 2nd day. In that day we just came to Head of the village. He has a horse, and this horse has a problem. His horse has got breeding, but it didn't pregnant. So, our lecture did rectal exploration. He diagnosed that the horse got hypofunction ovarian or Corpus luteum persistent. After he did rectal exploration, he decided that the horse got ovarian hypofunction. It means, even though horse's body looks fat, but it doesn't get pregnant because there is no function of ovarian. In the lesson that I have got, it must treats by hormones such as GnRH, FSH, Estrogen, and increase the body condition if the body too thin. In the field, my lecture treats this horse by injection vitamins A, D,E. Because the hormones treatments too rick and expensive. In the 2nd day in Ambal, at 8.00 am we were going to examine some horses before the tournaments begin. We visited some places. The horses looks good and healthy. At 11.00 the tournaments starts. In that day there were 8 class. Everything goes well until the 6th class run. A horse fell down and it got displacement muscular regio in scapula. My lecture try to reposition it and gave injection of stalin. The horse looks sick and cannot walk very well. I'm so sad, in the end of tournaments I have to go to yogyakarta with a friend, because tomorrow we have seminar. But I'm very happy accompany my lecture.
